A group of friends gather on the night of December 21, 2012 – the date the Mayan Calendar ends – for an “End of the World” party. The sun has gotten so hot, people are forced to live at night. To go out in the sun they must wear thick “Sunsuits” to protect themselves. Gaia, a thirty-something spiritual healer lives in a beautiful designer home in the country with her boyfriend Mike, but all is not well: she has been seeing something strange, watching her from the shadows.
As the party progresses, and trapped inside by a raging snowstorm, they learn they are not alone…

New short film being planned
I’m in the planning stages to make a new short film with an actor/writer/musician friend of mine. We’ve worked together before, he’s had a record deal, and is in ACTRA, so has some good connections to professional actors and others in the film/TV industry (plus, we’ll have the soundtrack covered!). I’ll reveal the details of the film soon, but keeping it under wraps for now. He came up with the story, and I wrote the script with his input, the other day.
We’re preparing a grant application, and have also secured some private funding, so the film is a “go” no matter the grant outcome. Still, the grant would help us out a lot, so fingers crossed!
